Eileen Preston Design offers a full range of services, including design, styling, staging, renovation planning, and project management. Eileen launched her career as an art director and designer, working with clients such as interior designers, architecture firms, and home furnishing retailers. A key part of her work was the management of styling for photoshoots and overseeing design projects to ensure a polished finished product.
Eileen was immersed in the world of architecture and design from an early age, growing up in a family that built and sold properties. In 1999, she began renovating and selling homes, earning multiple offers in favorable and challenging markets. Her career evolved to specialize in residential staging, design, and renovations. Today she takes on projects of all sizes, from complete renovations to room-by-room styling and design consultation.

Q&A
How do you describe your design style?
Projects that evolve organically feel more authentic and comfortable to me. I like using natural elements and found objects to create a unique space. I especially enjoy the hunt for interesting, beautiful, affordable items that add character to my projects and sometimes mix masculine and feminine styles for contrast and balance. I draw inspiration when traveling to bring a fresh perspective to design. I strive to create stunning but comfortable spaces distinct to each client.
Which projects excite you most?
I envision the potential of every space and love finding solutions that work with my client's tastes, preferences, and needs, ultimately adding lasting value to their homes. I enjoy having complete creative freedom, but I am open to collaboration and learning from different perspectives. I offer many services, from home renovations to styling a room with accessories, selecting paint colors, and everything in between.
Being sensitive to sustainability can make an impact. We can modify cabinets that are in good condition by removing excess molding, changing the knobs, and professionally painting them to give them new life. Avoiding trends can be difficult, but we can often rework and reuse older styles to fit current designs. Combining vintage pieces with new ones is appealing and more eco-friendly.
