Q&A
How do you describe your design style?
I would say that my style is modern eclectic (touch of modern, casual and lived in). It’s
what your house ultimately looks like after years of travel and collecting from your
travels. I believe that a home should reflect your character and personality.
Which projects excite you most and are you hoping to do more of?
I love projects with fun clients where we can bounce great ideas off of one another and
they trust me to deliver the full creative design. I have been grateful to work with clients
over and over again on projects and always appreciate when they are able to invest in
the design as that allows me to really tap into creative ideas and to source from the very
best. I also love when there is room in the budget to add that final important layer of art
and one-of-a-kind pieces that make a space feel truly special. I recommend that
homeowners hire their interior designer at the conception stage. It is so valuable to have
that collaboration with the architects and the builders. I love to select tile, lighting,
fixtures and then relate those to the furniture choices all the way to a “wow” install day
for the clients.
Anything else you want potential clients to know about you?
My clients say that I am down to earth and easy to get along with and will always listen to
what they have to say. I have been a designer for over 15 years with repeat clients
coming back to work on the next home. I build trusting relationships with each of my
clients because I care about the project and my clients. I take a huge pride in this and
love that my clients keep coming back when they move to a new home.
