About
Debby Katz Interiors (DKI) is a residential design firm located in Fairfield County, Connecticut with projects spanning the tri-state area.
Debby’s design sensibility was shaped by a childhood surrounded by art and artists, tagging along with her artist-dad to galleries and museums, and enthralled by the architecture in Boston. Fascinated with interiors at an early age, she studied both Interior Design and Art History and brings to every project a thorough understanding of color, scale and proportion as well as a keen eye for space planning.
Debby’s approach to interiors reflects her commitment to honor each client’s personality and lifestyle – how they live and what they love. Selecting interesting furnishings and works of art, Debby weaves in creative details to make each home unique, functional and personal. For her, designing a home is not about showcasing the latest trends, but creating a space that balances classic style with eclectic elements for an updated, timeless approach to contemporary living.
“Our design studio can take on your large scale renovations or smaller scale refreshes. We meet each project with dedication to detail and an approachable, honest style as we move through the design process.”

Q&A
How would you describe your design style?
Transitional Design, layered with art, eclectic pieces and the things that give you joy. We love mixing styles and price points.
Which projects excite you most and are you hoping to do more of?
I love renovations (including kitchen refreshes) of all sizes, and geek out on space planning. We take on projects of all scopes and sizes, from smaller decorating projects to full-service where we manage all aspects of the design and procurement process — soup to nuts.
Anything else you want potential clients to know about you?
Having studied art and art history (and growing up around art) I really enjoy working with people to add art to their space, guiding them as they discover art that speaks to them, finding great resources, and advising on framing and hanging.
