About
I discovered my passion for photography shortly after buying my first camera to take photos of my infant daughter in 2001. Since then, I am rarely without my camera and use it as a tool to tell stories and explore and interpret the world around me. I have been exhibiting and selling my work for the last 10 years, and recently retired from a 30-year law career to pursue fine art photography full time.
I use perspective, light, and color to capture the psychological power of coastal and urban environments. Employing a wide field of view, I capture vibrant colors and dynamic shapes, transforming ordinary scenes into iconic compositions. The aim is to produce photographs that reveal, not just record. Through my work, I explore themes of leisure, nostalgia, and the passage of time. Each photograph invites a deeper reflection on the familiar, encouraging a fresh perspective on the world around us.”
Fun fact: I’m learning how to play the Electric Guitar - it’s never too late!
