Haley’s House of Vintage Finds
Purchasing vintage furniture and decor is one of the best ways to decorate sustainably at home, and it's totally in vogue. For some Earth Week inspiration, we dropped in on Weston local and vintage queen Haley Lieberman. A former costume designer turned tech entrepreneur with a focus on sustainable fashion solutions, Haley's home is a colorful, treasure-filled treat, where every piece has a past. Even her dog, Marzipan, is a 'second-hand' rescue mutt. Haley’s guiding principle for home decor shopping (and fashion!): “stay crafty and savvy…buy less, and shop with intention.”
One of our favorite spots in this home is surely the hallway nook with refinished vintage mid-century modern dresser from Fairfield County Antiques, styled with other vintage objects, art and well-worn reference books. Framed costume designs drawn by Haley for various operas hang on the opposite wall. So cool!
