Hudson Blau Kitchen Before & After

White kitchens never go out of style. Here’s a tale of two sparkling white kitchen makeovers designed by Maggie Blau of Hudson Blau Designs.

Kitchen 1:

The first is a NYC apartment remodeled with aging in place in mind.

The Cambria quartz countertop and backsplash from Tri State Marble and Tile steal the show with its undulating Brittanica pattern….giving a completely fresh look to the existing cabinetry. A Waterworks “Henry” chrome faucet is the perfect accessory and the Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray walls support the fabulous original artwork, and keep the room warm.

Kitchen 2:

Kitchen two is in Westport, a remodel for empty nesters.

Pearlized subway tiles by AKDO lend a clean, classic look. Another timeless detail: the Bendheim opaque blue-gray glass inserts, which add depth to the cabinetry. These walls are Benjamin Moore Paper White for a crisper, bluer edge.

Which backsplash would you choose to complete a perfect white kitchen - dramatic patterned quartz or classic subway?
